Previous Next Day 1: Cairo – Welcome to Egypt Welcome to the “the capital of Egypt” Your representative will meet you at Cairo international airport (Before the immigration counters) Then you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo- Overnight Cairo| Meals: No meal. Day 2:Pyramids & Saqqara Despite the fame of the Giza Pyramids, Saqqara is one of several other notable necropolis sites near Cairo that offer impressive sights and hold great archaeological significance. In fact, Saqqara may hold more interest to archaeologists than Giza. The huge site hosts burials dating from before the beginning of the Old Kingdom up through the Greek Period of Egyptian history. The most famous structure by far at Saqqara is Djoser’s Step Pyramid. Dating from the 3rd dynasty (2667—2448 BC), it was the first all-stone complex ever built on earth. It also displays an important architectural innovation for the construction of the Giza Pyramids and other later pyramids in the 4th dynasty and later. Day 3: Egyptian Museum & Islamic Cairo After breakfast we will tour  to old Islamic Cairo and the Egyptian Museum, home to the most extensive collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities in the world. Arguably the most famous exhibit is the stunning solid gold funerary mask of the boy-King Tutankhamen ..After  lunch  we will explore the great Islamic monuments of Cairo ,Mohamed ali mosque and Sultan Hassan  madrassa and MosqueThis evening we board the overnight sleeper train to Luxor. Overnight – Sleeper train Day 4 Valley of the Kings This morning we travel to the West Bank to visit the legendary Valleys of the Kings & Queens and Temple of Hatshepsut. and the workers village of the ancient egyptians. This evening there is an optional of a sound and light show at karnak temples. Overnight – Luxor Day 5  Karnak Temple Luxor – Sharm El Sheikh. This morning we visit the mighty temple of Karnak, a spectacular temple on a gigantic scale, which is dedicated to the Theban gods. This afternoon board a flight to the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh. Overnight – Sharm el Sheikh Day 6-8 Sharm el Sheikh   Spend the next 3 days relaxing in beautiful Sharm El Sheikh. Soak up the sun on the beach and perhaps try a spot of diving or snorkeling to check out the amazing reefs – Sharm El Sheikh is one of the world’s premier diving destinations. There are plenty of pursuits on offer here, such as windsurfing, kayaking, golfing and a casino! A hotsof bars and restaurants aplenty, will keep you entertained in the evenings. Overnight – Sharm el Sheikh   Day9 Cairo Sharm El Sheikh – Cairo. Enjoy your last morning at leisure in Sharm, before we catch the afternoon flight back to Cairo. Spend the remains of the day shopping for last minute souvenirs or simply exploring the streets of Cairo. Overnight – Cairo Day10 Departure   Hotel check out and a departure transfer to the airport, for your onward flight home. Day 2:Great Pyramids This morning, on the included sightseeing tour with a local expert, visit the awe inspiring Great Pyramids and the Sphinx at Giza plateau, then head to the Egyptian museum, it is one of the most famous museums in the world. Lunch at local restaurant in Cairo- Back to hotel, Overnight Cairo| Meals: Breakfast, Lunch. Day 3: Cairo / Luxor (flight) & Cruise Embarkation (full Board) Today you will be transferred to Cairo Airport for your flight to Luxor. Arrive in Luxor and transfer to the cruise ship. Embarkation before lunch. Proceed with the visits of the East Bank of the Nile including the Temple of Karnak & the Temple of Luxor. After the tours transfer back to the cruise. Dinner & overnight aboard of the cruise in Luxor.  Day 4 Luxor / Esna After breakfast you will visit the West Bank of the Nile including the Valley of Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir El-Bahari and the two colossi of Memnon. Sail to Esna, lunch on board of the cruise. Day 5 Esna / Edfu / Kom Ombo Breakfast on board of the cruise.  Sail to Edfu. Arrive Edfu, visit the Temple of Edfu, dedicated to the God Horus.  Sail to Kom-Ombo & lunch during the sail.  Arrive Kom-Ombo, visit the Temple of Kom-Ombo, dedicated for Gods Sobek and Haroeris.  Dinner & overnight on board of the cruise in Aswan Day 6 Aswan After breakfast  you will visit Aswan including the Temple of Philae and tour by felucca around Elephantine Island & the Botanical Garden.  Dinner & overnight on board of the cruise in Aswan.  Day 7 Disembarkation & Aswan / Cairo (flight) Breakfast and disembarkation from the cruise.  Continue the tour in Aswan with Unfinished Obelisk. Finish the visits of Aswan with the High Dam passing by the old Dam of Aswan.  Transfer to Aswan Airport for your flight to Cairo.  Arrive in Cairo Airport and transfer to your hotel. Stay overnight in Cairo.
